NZ is Bite Sized

It’s super small! The DB and I have just tackledthe south island in under 6 days…a bit mad but so much fun. Most sane people take a little longer to savour the beautiful mountain ranges, coastline and incredible glaciers but we aren’t sane. The glaciers in particular really stunned me, these huge blocks of ice between mountains even in summer! We thankfully having a day off today in Christchurch today before making moves to the North island. The DB and I both agree that this is DEFINITELY a country that we would want to visit again. Rent a camper van, throw away our map and then just go for it, at our own speed and in our own good time.

It’s amazing how quickly our time in Australia and NZ is coming to an end! And then it’s off to Asia! But before all that I have to make baked beans on toast for dinner tonight…the life of a backpacker :)
